Lily is a proud First Nations young woman whose story, art and aspirations are rooted in family, culture and community.
My Story
I am a scholarship recipient and graduated in 2025. My story is connected to school, family, culture and community.
Through education, I’ve had the opportunity to grow, learn and build stronger connections to my identity and the people who support me.
My journey has been shaped by the distance from home, the
strength of my family and ancestors, and the friendships and support I found during school.

My artwork reflects my schooling journey - the distance from
home, the strength of my family and ancestors, and the connections I built along the way.
The pathways represent the many places I’ve travelled, the people who have supported me, and the knowledge that continues to guide me.
It is a reminder that even when you are far from home, culture always travels with you.
THE RIBBON
Designed from Lily Tschuna original artwork, the ribbon carries her story into school communities in a visible and meaningful way.
Students are invited to wear the ribbon during Reconciliation Week -
or throughout the year - as a quiet and visible gesture of respect, connection and support.
